BALANCE OF SEMINARS AND OBJECTIVEEvery ITA Black Belt is encouraged to broaden and strengthen their Martial Arts knowledge base. Exposure to different instructors , thoughts and concepts within a structured ITA environment is healthy. Every ITA Black Belt should devote the majority of their time pursuing the study of ITA TaeKwonDo within the limits of published curriculum. TAEKWONDO should be considered a students primary educational Major. ITA has published curriculum limits defining what TaeKwonDo. Teaching techniques not published in ITA materials is not authorized without a separate certification in a designated minor field of study. Every ITA Black Belt should select at least one Minor Field of Study and maintain proficiency and certification. ITA Black Belt Conventions provide an opportunity to enhance Major and Minor fields of study for PERSONAL ENRICHMENT and/or CERTIFICATION privileges.FESTIVAL SEMINARS The summer festival will include all topics while the spring and fall both include core seminars however some split between spring and fall. Remember the Spring and Fall Festival earn ½ credit each while the summer convention earns one full credit. Festival seminar credit is required for TaeKwonDo certification and rank advancement.
