Each of our academies will be hosting a new student enrollment night on Thursday, Feb. 9.  Our East academy on 13th street will be celebrating is GRAND RE-OPENING that same night.

Times:
Tiger Cubs (ages 4 and 5): 5 PM
Juniors (ages 6 to 12): 6 PM
Teens and Adults (ages 13 and up): 7:30 PM

Special Enrollment offer will be available this night for all new students!

go to www.tigerrockonline.com register.  You will need your member ID (look on your rank certificate), and your password.

Black Belt Deadline:  This Thursday, January 26
Deadline for all other students: Tuesday, Jan 31.

2012 GOALS…….

Goals we set are Goals we get!

We would love to share in your Goal setting and Goal reaching adventures for 2012!  If you have Goals you would like to share with us, we want to help you make it happen.

You must:
Plan, Prepare, and Participate!

Make the PLAN…….plan out your classes, when you wil attend, and how often
Make the PREPARATION……..make sure you have all your gear ready, your uniform ready, your homework done, your children care for (if adult)
JUST PARTICIPATE! …… come to the academy and make it happen!

Tiger Rock Regional Tournament…..
Saturday, March 10 at Hillcrest High School.
(for many, this is the first Saturday of Spring Break for the City and County Schools systems…….please plan any unplanned vacations around participating in the tournament on March 10)

Tiger Rock World Championships
Saturday, July 14 in Birmingham, AL (Jefferson Civic Center)

Tiger Rock National Championships
Saturday, Sept 15
(hosted somewhere within a 2 hour drive of Tuscaloosa…..possibly here in Tuscaloosa or in Birmingham)

Participate……register on time and show up for the testing!

REGISTRATION IS NOW UNDERWAY ONLINE!!

Registration Deadlines:
Black Belts: Thursday, Jan 26
All other students: Tuesday, Jan 31

The times and locations for the testing are as follows:

Thursday, Feb 2 Jiu-JitSu/Grappling Testing at the Northport Academy.
Juniors: 6 PM
Adults: 6:30 PM

Friday, Feb 3 at each academy
Tiger Cubs: 6 PM

Saturday, Feb 4 at Echols Middle School
9 AM – Junior Brown, Red, and Black Belts
10 AM – all adult report for board holding
10:15 AM – junior and adult Black Belt interviews
10:30 AM – Adult testing (all levels)
12:30 PM – Junior Green and Blue
2:30 PM – Junior White and Yellow

Wednesday, Feb 8 at each academy
Tiger Cub Secondary Testing: 5:45 PM
White thru Red Belts Secondary Testing: 6 PM

NEXT BUDDY NIGHT! THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9

Our next Buddy Night will be on Thursday, Feb. 9 at the following times!

5 PM: Tiger Cubs
6 PM: All Juniors
7:30 PM: All Adults

Make plans to bring friends to class with you that night!

SPECIAL VALENTINES DATE NIGHT EVENT!

We will have more information next week for you…..but we are hosting an exciting event on Saturday night, Feb. 11……We will have a fun night at the academy for your kids, while parents go out for a Valentines Date!  Details will be included in next week’s email!
