JUNIORS
PROGRAM
TaeKwonDo
Plus helps children develop many good motor skill development and physical
fitness through a fun and exciting art. Instructors also provide lessons
in our Tenets of TaeKwonDo - Honor, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance,
Self-Control, Courage, Community – by making them a part of every
class.
Junior
classes are for
children aged 6 through 12. Classes are 50 minutes in length.
Classes
always begins with a warm-up period including exercises and stretching designed
to increase strength, power, and flexibility. Warm-ups are followed by
combinations of, but not limited to, the following activities:

Floor
exercises, pad drills, and heavy bag work

Sparring
for green belts and above

One-step
sparring for all ranks

Work
on forms for appropriate rank
