Drew Leopard
I was born Andrew Michael Leopard on April 23rd, 1985 here in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at DCH Hospital.
I began my Taekwondo training and career on May 30th of 1992. Senior Master Bailey has been my
instructor for 13 years and he has been a mentor and father figure throughout my training. Other
instructors that have had influences on me have been Mr. Jim Green, Mr. Lowell Starr, Mr. Brian
Chewning, Mr. Jason Griffin, Mr. Brad Fantle, Mr. Heath Riggs, and Mr. Brandon Greene. I earned my
black belt when I was eight years old in February of 1994.I became a Certified Instructor of Taekwondo
in March of 2001 at the age of fifteen. I am now a Senior 3rd degree black belt testing for 4th degree
in October.
God is the number one aspect of my life. I am the most thankful for my salvation and my relationship
with Jesus Christ. I give God all of the credit for success in life. My mother and father have always
been very supportive of the ITA and Mr. Bailey's academies'. They have supported my decision in choosing
Taekwondo as my career. My mother, Jan Leopard, is a school teacher at Verner Elementary. My father,
Mike Leopard, is an operator of machinery at BF Goodrich, as well as a construction worker. I was a 2003
Graduate of Hillcrest High School with an advanced diploma and I attended Shelton State Community College.
I choose Taekwondo as my career to further my education in the martial art and to improve my relationships
with the students both children and adult.
